God loves you more than you could ever know. He loves you so much that He offers you a precious gift; the gift of salvation. The Bible says; “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.” (John 3:16-17) NIV
In Luke 23:33-46 (NAS) it says;
When they came to the place called The Skull, there they crucified Him and the criminals, one on the right and the other on the left. But Jesus was saying, “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing “And they cast lots, dividing up His garments among themselves. And the people stood by, looking on. And even the rulers were sneering at Him, saying, “He saved others; let Him save Himself if this is the Christ of God, His Chosen One.” The soldiers also mocked Him, coming up to Him, offering Him sour wine, and saying, “If You are the King of the Jews, save Yourself!” Now there was also an inscription above Him, “THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.” One of the criminals who were hanged there was hurling abuse at Him, saying, “Are You not the Christ? Save Yourself and us!” But the other answered, and rebuking him said, “Do you not even fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation?” And we indeed are suffering justly, for we are receiving what we deserve for our deeds; but this man has done nothing wrong.” And he was saying, “Jesus, remember me when You come in Your kingdom!” And He said to him, “Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise.” It was now about the sixth hour, and darkness fell over the whole land until the ninth hour, because the sun was obscured; and the veil of the temple was torn in two. And Jesus, crying out with a loud voice, said, “Father, INTO YOUR HANDS I COMMIT MY SPIRIT.” Having said this, He breathed His last.
Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins, and He rose from the dead on the third day. He now sits at the right hand of the Father in heaven, and He desires to be your Lord and Savior. He desires to be your ever present help in a time of need and your everlasting redeemer. You might be thinking that you have done too many evil deeds or have made too many mistakes to be worthy of salvation. Or you may be saying to yourself; “I’m a good person and that’s all I need.” The Bible says in Romans 3:23 (NIV) “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” There is nothing that you can do to earn the gift of salvation. You can not pray enough prayers or perform enough good deeds. There is not a person on earth that deserves salvation. Yet the Lord Jesus Christ freely offers it to us that we might live abundantly and have eternal life in Him. All we have to do is receive it. If you would like to receive salvation and accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, please pray this prayer aloud to Him:
Dear Lord Jesus,
I repent for every sin that I have ever committed. I ask that You would forgive me of my sins and wash me clean with Your blood. I ask You Lord Jesus to come into my heart and to be the Lord of my life. I give You access to my life, my heart, my will, and my emotions. I ask that You would transform me Lord from the inside out by the power of the Holy Spirit. I ask that You would fill me with Your presence now Lord. I receive You Lord. I receive salvation; and I thank you that from this day forward I will never be the same again.
In Jesus Mighty Name I Pray,
Amen
If you just prayed that prayer I want you to know that you have received salvation and have become a child of the Most High God. Your life is now in the hands of Jesus Christ. While you are on this earth you can walk with the Lord and have a personal relationship with Him; and when you pass from this life you will be joined with the Lord in heaven and have eternal life with Him. I encourage you to talk to God, and to pray and seek Him in your daily life. I encourage you to purchase a Bible and begin to read daily. I recommend starting your reading in the New Testament; Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, and so on. Reading these Books of the Bible will teach you about Jesus; who He is, what He did as He walked the earth; and it will teach you about His death and resurrection. It is in your daily time with the Lord and your fellowship with Him that you will begin to know Him more and learn in greater depth Who He is. Be encouraged this day as you begin your walk with the Lord and embark on this amazing journey.
